DIY: 5 Summer Gift Wraps

Whimsical Feather Wrapping Paper

Materials:

• Brown wrapping paper or postal paper
• Colored or patterned paper
• Burlap
• Green twine
• Gift tag
• Scissors
• Tape
• Optional: Hot Glue

Instructions:

1. Wrap gift in brown paper.
2. Cut colored/patterned paper into feather shapes.
3. Wrap burlap around the center of the gift, secure in back with tape (or hot glue).
4. Tie green twine around burlap.
5. Place paper feathers under twine to hold them place

Sweet Summer Watermelon Wrapping Paper

Materials:

• Red tissue paper
• Green wrapping paper
• Black marker
• Green twine
• Gift tag
• Scissors
• Tape

Instructions:

1. Use black marker to draw watermelon seeds on red tissue paper.
2. Cover gift in red paper .
3. Wrap bottom of gift in green paper, leaving half of red paper exposed. Secure green paper clear with tape.
4. Tie on green twine.
5. Place personalized gift tag under twine to hold it in place.

Festive Party Flags Wrapping Paper

Materials:

• Brown wrapping or postal paper
• Twine
• Colored or patterned paper
• Scissors
• Tape

Instructions:

1. Wrap gift in brown paper.
2. Cut flag shapes from colored/patterned paper.
3. Attach flags to twine using tape.
4. Secure string of flags to the gift box using tape.

Buzzy Bee Wrapping Paper

Materials:

• White wrapping paper or tissue paper
• Yellow and orange washi tape
• Bee stickers (or make your own bee from paper)
• Black marker
• Scissors
• Tape
• Optional: Colored paper

Instructions:

1. Wrap gift in white paper.
2. Alternate making yellow and orange stripes across the paper with washi tape.
3. Place bee sticker on top of box.
4. Make a dashed line with the black marker to create the path of the bee
5. Optional: Wrap a second gift in a complimentary pattern and layer it under your bee paper.

Ice Cream Dream Wrapping Paper

Materials:

• Assorted colored or patterned paper (at least three sheets)
• Twine
• Hole punch
• Scissors
• Tape

Instructions:

1. Wrap gifts in one or two sheets of paper.
2. Cut a "cone" and "scoop of ice cream" from another sheet of paper.
3. Punch a hole in the ice cream cone.
4. Attach ice cream cone to gifts using twine.
