DIY: 4 Fabulous Fall Gift Wraps

Materials:

  • Brown wrapping paper or postal paper
  • Colorful fall leaves
  • Twigs
  • Yarn (in a complementary color)
  • Hole punch
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Steps:

  • Wrap gift in brown paper
  • Cut enough yarn to wrap around gift several times
  • Break twig into small pieces and tie together with yarn
  • Punch a hole in one or more of the leaves and tie to twigs
  • Set twigs and leaves on top of gift, wrap excess yarn around gift
  • Tie off yarn on back side of gift, secure in place with tape if needed

Steps:

  • Wrap gift in white paper
  • Cut a piece of burlap to wrap around center of gift (as if it were ribbon), and secure in place on back of gift with tape (or hot glue)
  • Attach quill feather to top of gift using string and secure it with small piece of tape

Steps:

  • Draw a tribal pattern on gift tag with gold marker
  • Wrap gift in feather paper
  • Wrap orange raffia around gift several times
  • Place tag under orange raffia to hold in place

  • Brown wrapping paper or postal paper
  • Letter stickers (simple is best, in a fall color)
  • Tape
  • Scissors

 Steps:

  • Wrap gift in brown paper
  • Write your message on top of gift with stickers (for a Thanksgiving hostess try "give thanks", for a fall anniversary "fall in love" or for a birthday a simple "celebrate" will do)
